Richard Hobson joined the FM Stone Commercial team in January 2008 with more than 30 years of experience in sales. A lifelong resident of Elkhart County, Richard worked for 16 years at Showalter Buick GMAC in several positions including sales manager and used car manager. He then joined Schrock Homes, a builder of residential homes, and for eight years helped countless homebuyers though the complex decision making process that is part of custom home construction.
Over the years Richard developed an interest in real estate and in 2000 attended Indiana University where he received his Indiana real estate training and state licensing. Today Richard uses his background of sales and management experience to help clients with office, retail, commercial and industrial sales and leasing transactions.
Well-known within the community and trusted by all who have had the opportunity to work with him, Richard strives to find the best real estate solution for his clients -- no matter their price point. He loves to golf, spend time with his family and watch Indiana University basketball. Richard and his wife Teresa live in Elkhart and have two children: Abbey and Philip.
