Polser USA Opens Elkhart Facility
Polser USA is the new tenant at 21099 Protecta Drive in Elkhart, Indiana
7-14-2020 — Polser USA, a manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced plastics, is the new tenant in 10,000 SF of industrial space at 21099 Protecta Drive in Elkhart. FM Stone’s Brent Miller, SIOR, assisted the landlord in lease negotiations. Polser International, its parent company, is a 40-year-old Turkish company that distributes its products to over 70 countries worldwide in many industries. The new facility will allow Polser USA to market its rolled and panelized products directly to the RV industry.
Ameri-Kart Is Building New 234,000 SF Facility in Bristol’s North Industrial Park
6-8-2020 — Bristol, Ind. — Ameri-Kart, a manufacturer of custom plastic parts for the RV, marine and a variety of other industries, is building a new 234,000 SF manufacturing facility in Bristol on land in the North Industrial Park. In April FM Stone Broker, Brent Miller, SIOR, assisted the developer and Ameri-Kart in the purchase of the 32.1-acre parcel at 1667 Commerce Drive. The new building will be used to consolidate Ameri-Kart’s Cassopolis, Mich., and Bristol, Ind., operations and is expected to create up to 210 new jobs by the end of 2022. The company, owned by Akron, Ohio-based Myers Industries Inc., announced it will invest approximately $10.1 million to build and equip the new, state-of-the-art production facility. In its June 5 announcement of the project, Ameri-Kart said construction is underway, and plans are in place to begin relocation this fall and be fully moved into the facility by early 2021. Ameri-Kart currently employs 138 in Bristol and 85 in Michigan. Hiring for new positions in Bristol should begin in late September.
“The Town of Bristol is both excited and grateful that Ameri-Kart has selected our town,” said Bristol Town Council President Jeff Beachy. “Ameri-Kart has been a great business partner for many years, with their current facility located just outside Bristol town limits. We look forward to seeing the new facility as it springs to life from the once vacant property.”
Founded in 1989, Ameri-Kart manufactures a wide range of molded plastic parts for a variety of industries. The new facility will accommodate state-of-the-art rotomold and thermoform manufacturing technologies, an improved lean equipment layout and automated workflows.
ERA Global Solutions Leases 29,000 SF
3-2-2020 — ERA Global Solutions Inc. is the new tenant in 29,000 SF of industrial space at 2906 Airport in Elkhart. FM Stone’s Brent Miller, SIOR, represented the landlord, ElkBuild II LLC, in lease negotiations with the tenant. ERA Global Solutions provides various products to RV Suppliers including door and window frames, extensions, bodywork, inner cabinets, cupboards and furniture. Established in 2016, ERA Global Solutions services businesses in the United States and Canada from its storage and distribution center in Elkhart.
Milestone Fence Buys 3723 N. Home in Mishawaka
11-15-2019 — Milestone Fence is the new owner of the 9,200 SF industrial building on 3 acres at 3723 N. Home Street in Mishawaka. The company installs, repairs and replaces fencing, railing, decks and gates for residential and commercial customers in the Michiana area.
