8-9-2018 -- Impact Site Contracting LLC is the new owner of 6.79 acres along State Road 23 in Granger. The property, at 12409 Adams Road, is just east of Bittersweet on the north side of the highway. Impact Site Contracting is a full-service excavation and snow removal company serving the Michiana area. The company specializes in digging pools and ponds, driveway removal, septic tank/sewer work, demolition, hauling and rock breaking. The deal was handled by John Letherman, CCIM.
Love's Coming to Elkhart
8-29-2017 -- The southwest corner of the US 20 Bypass and CR 17 in Elkhart County will soon be seeing some building activity. Love’s Travel Stop will be constructing a 24-hour convenience store and fuel station on the north side of the 47-acre property it recently purchased. The new Love’s Travel Stop location is expected to include an attached Hardee’s fast food restaurant. Love’s also expects to develop the south side of the property with lots for commercial and industrial development. The new Love’s Travel Stop is expected to employ about 50 people. The deal, which had been in development for about two years, was put together by FM Stone’s John Letherman, CCIM, and Pete Letherman, CCIM, SIOR.
Quintess Primary Care Coming to Elkhart
7-6-2017 -- John Letherman, CCIM, assisted Dr. Abigail A. Annan, MD in the purchase of the former Hill & Associates insurance office at 818 E. Bristol Street in Elkhart. The 1,484 SF 2-story office building had been on the market for four and a half years. The building, at the northwest corner of Bristol and County Road 9 (Johnson) will be home to Quintess Primary Care which will open in September 2017. This direct primary care facility will handle outpatient family medicine and medically managed weight loss.
Letherman Leases 7,400 SF for Mini Golf at North Pointe Plaza
9-23-2016 -- John Letherman, CCIM, assisted BLT Family Entertainment in leasing 7,400 SF of retail space in Suites 10 & 11 at North Pointe Plaza in Elkhart. The former Majerick Hallmark space and the suite to the immediate south are expected to be transformed into an indoor miniature golf, laser tag playground and family fun center. The new tenant plans to open just before Christmas after extensive remodeling is done on the space in the coming months. The landlord, Equity Investment Group, will assist by replacing rooftop HVAC units and making required repairs to the space in September. The tenant will then take over with his updates. Meyer Distributing Opens Call Center at North Pointe Plaza
3-10-2016 – Meyer Distributing is a new tenant in North Pointe Plaza on Elkhart’s north side. Headquartered in Jasper, Ind., Meyer is a distributor of aftermarket automotive parts and accessories. Through numerous warehousing facilities all over the U.S., Meyer serves thousands of customers nationwide with most states via Meyer Logistics direct ship. The location at North Pointe Plaza will function as a call center for the company. Meyer Distributing has been in Elkhart since 2005 when it opened up a warehouse facility here. John Letherman, CCIM, represented the landlord in the lease of the North Pointe space at 3249 Northview Drive.
