1-20-2021 — BoxDrop Mattress & Furniture Direct is the new tenant in 7,000 SF of retail space in Suite 7 at 1610-1712 Nappanee Street in Elkhart. FM Stone Broker Scott Griffith assisted in lease negotiations between the landlord, HPC Properties, and the tenant. BoxDrop is a discount mattress store specializing in clearance and closeouts mattresses. The business buys directly from the manufacturer, passing the savings on to their customers.
Lighthouse Autism Center Coming to Goshen
10-23-2020 — VAV Operations is the new owner of the former Chemical Bank branch at 511 W. Lincoln Avenue in Goshen. The 7,900 SF building will be used by VAV’s brand Lighthouse Autism Center, which provides autism therapy services to centers in Indiana and Michigan. There are already two centers in Elkhart and this will be first in Goshen. The seller was TCF National Bank. FM Stone brokers Scott Griffith and Pete Letherman, SIOR, CCIM, assisted in the sale.
Keystone Purchases Two Goshen Buildings
9-28-2020 — Keystone RV is the new owner of two Goshen industrial buildings at 2313 & 2321 Eisenhower Drive North. Keystone RV purchased the buildings from P&R Holdings LLC. FM Stone brokers Brent Miller, SIOR, and Scott Griffith assisted in sale negotiations. It is unknown what Keystone plans to do with the two 5,928 SF buildings.
City of Goshen Buys 3.57 Acres
8-27-2020 — The City of Goshen purchased 3.57 acres of vacant land in the 1500 block of East Monroe in Goshen for $30,000 to keep it from being developed. If the land, located in a floodway, were developed it would push the flooding risk to other neighboring properties…a situation the City of Goshen did not want to see happen. Scott Griffith assisted in the sale negotiations.
Goshen Shelter Insurance Office Moving
8-17-2020 — Scott Griffith assisted Armando Gomez-Mora in the purchase of the 1,225 SF office building at 333 Madison in Goshen. Gomez-Mora is an insurance agent for Shelter Insurance and intends to move his office to this new location from 1918 Elkhart Road, Suite 4, Goshen.
