Robert L. Thatcher joined FM Stone Commercial in late October of 2020 as a Real Estate Broker specializing in office and retail sales and leasing. He also works at our sister company, FM Construction Company, as a Project Manager and Estimator. In this role, he coordinates and directs the day-to-day management of his assigned construction projects. Bob excels at providing excellent customer service to his clients and specializes in budgetary management and oversight of design/build projects. He earned the designation of Certified Design & Development Professional (CDP) as conferred by the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Bob came to FM after working for two years as the Director of Franchise and Real Estate Development for Ben’s Soft Pretzels where he oversaw the overall brand expansion strategy for this growing gourmet pretzel company with over 85 locations in eight states. Prior to this, Bob was the General Manager and Director of Leasing of Concord Mall in Elkhart where he served three ownership entities during his 22 year tenure. 

Personal 
A resident of Elkhart, Bob and his wife Julie enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandson. In his spare time he is an avid fly fisherman, enjoys shooting sports, golf and skiing. Bob and Julie are members of Sugar Grove Church in Elkhart.
