3-1-2021 — FM Stone Broker Sharon Welsh listed and sold the 2,200 SF medical office building at 1723 E. Bristol Street in Elkhart. The building, previously owned by Dr. Jeffrey Eifler, Elkhart Podiatry Foot & Ankle Clinic LLC, was sold to Fort-Wayne based DirectCare. DirectCare plans to make the Bristol Street location into a DirectClinic location. DirectClinic’s goal is to cap the increasing cost of healthcare with a simple monthly or yearly fee, allowing its members to receive greater access to providers and their services. DirectClinic offers a fee-based membership practice to employers, employees, individuals and families. The new location of DirectClinic is expected to open sometime mid-year. Dr. Jeffrey Eifler, DPM, has moved to the Elkhart Clinic Podiatry Foot and Ankle Surgery building at 1755 Fulton Street, Suite A, in Elkhart.
Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center To Open in Elkhart
1-13-2021 -- GWT Hopebridge 4 LLC is the new owner of the 12,062 SF office building at 505 S. Third Street in downtown Elkhart on the corner of Third and Marion Street. The building, commonly known as Atrium Court, will be the newest location for a Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center. Hopebridge Autism Therapy Centers provide personalized therapy for children touched by behavioral, physical, social, communication and sensory challenges. This will be the first Elkhart County location for the center. The company is headquartered in Indianapolis and currently operates in four other states: Arizona, Georgia, Kentucky and Ohio, with additional states planned in 2021. FM Stone Broker Sharon Welsh assisted in the sale between Marcott Family Partners LLC and GWT Hopebridge 4 LLC. Renovations to the building will soon be underway and Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center hopes to be open as soon as possible in its new location.

11-30-2020 — FM Stone broker Sharon Welsh represented the seller in an investment sale of a commercial building at 113-115 State Street in Elkhart. The 5,476 SF two-story building has two retail suites on the main level and two apartments upstairs. Sharon represented the seller, Equity Trust Corp. The buyer was Lion Gate Investment LLC.
Hobson & Welsh Assist in Sale
10-19-2020 — Sharon Welsh and Richard Hobson assisted in the sale of 723 Bower Street in Elkhart. This 2,790 SF office building was on the market for 174 days before being sold to Northern Investments LLC. The new owner intends to update the building and then lease it out as a multi-tenant office or retail building to several tenants. Hobson and Welsh represented the seller, Hess Building LLC, in the sale.

7-6-2020 — Kryder’s Mowers, Blowers and Growers has moved from 3614 Cassopolis to 1611 W. Bristol Street in Elkhart. The family-owned outdoor power equipment store opened up in their new location on July 1. Kryder’s Mowers, Blowers and Growers leased the 8,467 SF retail building after deciding to consolidate from two buildings at their previous location into just one at the Bristol location. FM Stone’s Sharon Welsh and Bill Kuhns assisted in lease negotiations with the landlord, Winding River Investments LLC.
