City of Goshen Buys Building for Goshen Parks Department

7-24-2019 — The City of Goshen is the new owner of the 5,296 SF office building at 524 E. Jackson Boulevard in Goshen. The City of Goshen is using the former Modern Educational Systems building as the new home for the Goshen Parks and Recreation Department. The department’s former headquarters, at 607 W. Plymouth Avenue, was severely damaged during record-setting floods that have hit the city. Pete Letherman, SIOR, CCIM, assisted in the sale.

As a Commercial Real Estate Broker, Sharon will specialize in the leasing, buying and selling of all types of commercial properties in Northern Indiana.  She’s held her commercial real estate license for 25 years. Prior to joining FM Stone Sharon worked in commercial and private banking at Lake City Bank for 16 years. She started her career in financial services in 1977. She also has past experience in retail and mortgage lending.  Sharon intends to utilize her transferable skills to aid in her business transactions. “My main focus is to continue to build on and service the relationships that I have built in my career and help these individuals, and new clients, with their commercial real estate needs,” she said. “That is what inspires and energizes me.”

 A long-time resident of Goshen, Sharon is very involved in the community. She is a Goshen Chamber Ambassador, Chamber Member and Member of the Goshen Noon Kiwanis Club and a Board Member of the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Elkhart County, Goshen Unit. She is also a cabinet member of the Goshen Health Foundation Capital Campaign.

6-15-2019 — Mox Warehouse Logistics LLC just leased two neighboring industrial buildings in Elkhart. 29391 Old US 33 is a 53,127 SF industrial building and 29393 Old US 33 is a 16,980 SF industrial building. Mox Warehouse Logistics is a 16-year-old company that specializes in warehousing and logistical needs. Pete Letherman, SIOR, CCIM, assisted in the transaction.

Hall of Heroes Super Hero Museum Moving!

6-3-2019 — Hall of Heroes Super Hero Museum is the new owner of the 5,000 SF retail building at 1915 Cassopolis Street in Elkhart. The comic book and superheroes museum plans to move from its County Road 105 location in Elkhart to this new location once some renovations have taken place in the new building. The move doubles the amount of space the museum will have to display its collection of comics, vintage toys and TV/movie memorabilia. The new location is expected to have a gift shop, event room for private parties and even an escape room (Batman-Riddler themed). FM Stone broker Scott Griffith represented the seller, RMD Real Estate, in the transaction.
