1611 W. Bristol Street, Elkhart, is the new home for Kryder’s Mowers, Blowers and Growers

7-6-2020 — Kryder’s Mowers, Blowers and Growers has moved from 3614 Cassopolis to 1611 W. Bristol Street in Elkhart. The family-owned outdoor power equipment store opened up in their new location on July 1. Kryder’s Mowers, Blowers and Growers leased the 8,467 SF retail building after deciding to consolidate from two buildings at their previous location into just one at the Bristol location. FM Stone’s Sharon Welsh and Bill Kuhns assisted in lease negotiations with the landlord, Winding River Investments LLC.

Benteler Automotive Leases Two Industrial Buildings in Goshen

6-22-2020 — Benteler Automotive Corporation is now leasing two additional industrial buildings across the street from their existing Goshen plant at 910 Eisenhower Drive South. The company will be moving into the 27,103 SF industrial building at 811 Eisenhower Drive South and the 15,000 SF industrial building at 815 Eisenhower Drive South. FM Stone brokers Sharon Welsh and Scott Griffith assisted in the lease negotiations between Benteler and Brewster Properties Inc.

Benteler Automotive Corporation is a division of Benteler International AG which operates worldwide in the fields of automotive technology, steel and tube production, and engineering. Benteler Automotive is the largest revenue generator of Benteler Group’s primary business divisions and generates $783.74 million annually in revenue. Benteler Automotive plans to use the newly leased buildings mainly for storage of inventory. These buildings will replace a leased building they were previously occupying on U.S. 33 South in Goshen.

Ameri-Kart Is Building New 234,000 SF Facility in Bristol’s North Industrial Park

6-8-2020 — Bristol, Ind. — Ameri-Kart, a manufacturer of custom plastic parts for the RV, marine and a variety of other industries, is building a new 234,000 SF manufacturing facility in Bristol on land in the North Industrial Park. In April FM Stone Broker, Brent Miller, SIOR, assisted the developer and Ameri-Kart in the purchase of the 32.1-acre parcel at 1667 Commerce Drive. The new building will be used to consolidate Ameri-Kart’s Cassopolis, Mich., and Bristol, Ind., operations and is expected to create up to 210 new jobs by the end of 2022. The company, owned by Akron, Ohio-based Myers Industries Inc., announced it will invest approximately $10.1 million to build and equip the new, state-of-the-art production facility. In its June 5 announcement of the project, Ameri-Kart said construction is underway, and plans are in place to begin relocation this fall and be fully moved into the facility by early 2021. Ameri-Kart currently employs 138 in Bristol and 85 in Michigan. Hiring for new positions in Bristol should begin in late September.

“The Town of Bristol is both excited and grateful that Ameri-Kart has selected our town,” said Bristol Town Council President Jeff Beachy. “Ameri-Kart has been a great business partner for many years, with their current facility located just outside Bristol town limits. We look forward to seeing the new facility as it springs to life from the once vacant property.”

Founded in 1989, Ameri-Kart manufactures a wide range of molded plastic parts for a variety of industries. The new facility will accommodate state-of-the-art rotomold and thermoform manufacturing technologies, an improved lean equipment layout and automated workflows.

DuMor Water Specialists Buys Elkhart Land

3-26-2020 — DuMor Water Specialists Inc. will build a new Elkhart headquarters building on Lot 33 of Market Court in Elkhart at some unknown point in time. DuMor, represented by FM Stone’s Richard Hobson, purchased the 1.85-acre lot from Ludwig Investments LLC who was represented by Pete Letherman, SIOR, CCIM. DuMor, a family-owned business that deals with water softeners, drinking water systems and bottled water, has been in the area for over 65 years.

ERA Global Solutions Leases 29,000 SF

3-2-2020 — ERA Global Solutions Inc. is the new tenant in 29,000 SF of industrial space at 2906 Airport in Elkhart. FM Stone’s Brent Miller, SIOR, represented the landlord, ElkBuild II LLC, in lease negotiations with the tenant. ERA Global Solutions provides various products to RV Suppliers including door and window frames, extensions, bodywork, inner cabinets, cupboards and furniture. Established in 2016, ERA Global Solutions services businesses in the United States and Canada from its storage and distribution center in Elkhart.
